Do Not Approach

If you see a suspicious object or a "Danger, Mines!" sign, stop immediately. Do not approach, touch, or attempt to neutralize it yourself.

Call 101

Call the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) immediately at 101 or 112. Report the exact location and describe the situation.

Leave the Area Carefully

Return the same way you came. Walk carefully, avoiding new paths. Warn other people nearby.

Never Pick Up Objects

Any unknown objects on the ground may be explosive. Do not pick up, move, or throw anything suspicious. This also applies to objects that appear harmless.

Before Working on Land

Before starting any agricultural or construction work, make sure the territory has been surveyed and cleared. Check the status of the area at demine.gov.ua.

Tell Children

Explain the dangers of mines and explosive ordnance to children. Children must know that objects found on the ground should not be touched, and they should immediately tell an adult.
