Leave the Area Carefully
Return the same way you came. Walk carefully, avoiding new paths. Warn other people nearby.
Never Pick Up Objects
Any unknown objects on the ground may be explosive. Do not pick up, move, or throw anything suspicious. This also applies to objects that appear harmless.
Before Working on Land
Before starting any agricultural or construction work, make sure the territory has been surveyed and cleared. Check the status of the area at demine.gov.ua.
Tell Children
Explain the dangers of mines and explosive ordnance to children. Children must know that objects found on the ground should not be touched, and they should immediately tell an adult.
