Countries and organizations supporting Ukraine in humanitarian demining

Since February 24, 2022, Ukraine has been subjected to full-scale Russian aggression. According to official information, up to 144 thousand square kilometers of Ukrainian territory are potentially contaminated with mines and other explosive ordnance and require survey. With each additional day of war, this challenge becomes more complex.

Given the complexity, long-term nature, technical difficulty and high cost of survey and clearance operations, the Government of Ukraine is interested in maximizing cooperation with institutional partners in humanitarian demining and mine action.
