Zero tolerance principle for any manifestation of corruption

Anti-Corruption Policy

The Center for Humanitarian Demining declares that in its activities, including in legal relations with business partners, officials, state authorities, and local self-government bodies, it is guided by the principle of zero tolerance for any manifestation of corruption and will take all measures provided for by law to prevent and combat corruption.

Core Principles

  • Strict adherence to generally accepted ethical standards of conduct
  • Tolerant and respectful attitude towards political views, ideological and religious beliefs of others
  • Non-disclosure and non-use of confidential information obtained in the performance of duties
  • Competent, timely, effective and responsible performance of official duties
  • Refraining from carrying out clearly criminal actions, decisions and instructions

Key Prohibitions

  • Prohibition of offering, rewarding or receiving unlawful benefits
  • Prohibition of facilitation payments (acceleration payments)
  • Restrictions on gifts and business hospitality
  • Prohibition of supporting political parties where prohibited by law

Commissioner

The Commissioner is appointed by the Director of the Center to a separate position in accordance with labor legislation. The Commissioner exercises their functions independently. Interference in the activities of the Commissioner is not permitted.
