'Future of Demining: Ukraine in Action' — large-scale exhibition in Lviv region united over 200 participants

"Future of Demining: Ukraine in Action" — a large-scale exhibition in Lviv region brought together over 200 participants. The event showcased the latest achievements in Ukrainian and international demining technologies.
"This exhibition is a demonstration of how far we have come. From a country that had no domestic demining machines to a country with dozens of manufacturers, innovative technologies, and a unique market. Over 200 participants — equipment manufacturers, operators, developers, investors — gathered to see what Ukraine has achieved and discuss where we are heading," said Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The exhibition presented a wide range of demining equipment: heavy machines, remotely operated platforms, mine detection dogs, sensor systems, drones, and software for data analysis and planning. Both Ukrainian and international manufacturers participated.
"We have brought together under one roof everything that represents the future of demining — from heavy machines to artificial intelligence. Visitors can see, touch, and evaluate the technologies that will determine how quickly we clear Ukrainian land," noted the event organiser.
The exhibition programme also included panel discussions, workshops, and demonstrations of equipment in action. Key topics covered innovation, localisation of production, financing, and international cooperation.
The event attracted attention from international delegations, investors, and the media. Several agreements on cooperation and equipment supply were signed on the sidelines of the exhibition.
"The exhibition demonstrated that Ukraine's mine action sector has grown from a nascent field into a dynamic, innovative industry. This is a result of strategic decisions, international support, and the dedication of thousands of people working to make our land safe," summarised the Deputy Minister.
