100% localisation: in Ukraine, they are manufacturing the working tool for Croatian DOK-ING demining machines. This milestone marks the first fully localised major component of an international demining machine produced entirely in Ukraine.
"100% localisation of the working tool — the most critical component of the machine — is a landmark achievement. This proves that Ukrainian industry can produce world-class demining equipment components," said Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The working tool (the flail or rotor that processes soil and detonates mines) is the most critical and complex component of a demining machine. Its full localisation in Ukraine represents a significant engineering and manufacturing capability.
"We went through a rigorous process of quality assurance and testing to ensure that the Ukrainian-made working tool meets the same standards as the original. The result speaks for itself — full certification and approval," noted the Ukrainian manufacturer.
The localisation of the working tool is part of the broader DOK-ING localisation programme that progressively increases the share of Ukrainian components in the company's machines.
"This is the kind of industrial development we are aiming for. From components to assemblies to complete machines — step by step, Ukraine builds its own demining equipment industry," emphasised the Deputy Minister.
