57 tasks of the National Mine Action Strategy are being successfully implemented: the national authority on mine action held its first meeting of the year. The meeting reviewed the progress of strategy implementation and discussed priorities for the coming period.
"The first meeting of the year confirmed that all 57 tasks of the National Strategy are being successfully implemented. Some are ahead of schedule, most are on track, and none are critically behind. This is a very positive signal," said Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The national authority reviewed detailed progress reports on each strategic task, identified achievements and challenges, and set priorities for the remaining period.
"Regular monitoring of strategy implementation ensures that we stay on course and can quickly address emerging challenges. This systematic approach is key to achieving our strategic goals," noted the meeting participant.
Among the highlights: the growth of operational capacity, the success of the compensation programme, progress in innovation, and the strengthening of international partnerships.
"The National Strategy is our roadmap and accountability framework. Each meeting of the national authority is an opportunity to verify that we are on track and adjust where needed," summarised the Deputy Minister.
