First agricultural land officially returned to use after demining under the compensation program

The National Police unit in Zhytomyr region has received from Estonia a mobile modular camp for sappers. This solution will allow several dozen demining specialists to work in comfortable conditions even in remote areas where there is no access to stationary infrastructure.

«The modular camp includes everything necessary for autonomous work: living modules, a canteen, shower and hygiene facilities, a generator, and a water treatment system. Now our specialists can deploy directly at the clearance site without spending time on daily journeys,» said a representative of the National Police unit.

Estonia is one of the most active supporters of mine action in Ukraine. The country regularly provides technical assistance, equipment, and training for Ukrainian deminers.

«We see how important demining is for the safety and economic recovery of Ukrainian communities. Our modular camp is a practical solution that will help sappers work more efficiently,» noted the Estonian delegation.

The mobile camp can be deployed within a few hours and accommodates up to 40 people. It is designed for operation in any weather conditions and has autonomous energy and water supply systems.
