Certification of mine action operators: first application submitted through Diia

Certification of mine action operators through Diia: the first application has been submitted. For the first time in Ukraine, a company has applied for mine action operator certification through the Diia state portal.
"The first application through Diia has been submitted — this is a historic moment for the digitalisation of the mine action sector. The company was able to submit all necessary documents online, without paper or office visits. This is exactly how a modern certification system should work," said Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The Diia portal provides a full cycle of application processing — from filling out forms and submitting documents to tracking the application status and receiving a decision. All interaction is conducted in electronic format.
"We got used to collecting folders of paper documents and carrying them to offices. Now everything is in one place — on your phone or computer. It's convenient, fast, and transparent," shared the first applicant.
The launch of the online certification system through Diia is the result of joint work by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the Diia team. The system was designed taking into account the specifics of mine action and the needs of operators.
"Digitalisation is one of our strategic priorities. Online certification reduces barriers to entry into the sector, accelerates the process, and increases transparency. We expect the number of applications through Diia to grow rapidly," noted the Deputy Minister.
