DOK-ING is increasing the localisation of demining machine production in Ukraine. The Croatian manufacturer is expanding the range of components produced by Ukrainian enterprises.

"DOK-ING's commitment to increasing localisation is a model for other international manufacturers. By producing more components in Ukraine, DOK-ING strengthens the domestic industrial base, creates jobs, and reduces the cost of equipment," said Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The localisation programme includes the transfer of production of metal structures, hydraulic components, and electronic systems to Ukrainian enterprises. DOK-ING provides technical documentation and quality control.

"Our goal is to progressively increase the share of Ukrainian components in our machines. Ukraine has strong engineering capabilities, and we are committed to leveraging them," stated the DOK-ING representative.

The localisation supports the Government's strategic goal of building domestic demining equipment production capacity that will sustain the sector in the long term.

"Every percentage point of localisation is a step towards self-sufficiency. When Ukraine can produce, maintain, and repair its own demining equipment, the sector becomes truly sustainable," noted the Deputy Minister.
