Online certification of mine action operators has started working on the Diia portal. Now companies wishing to obtain certification as mine action operators can submit their applications electronically through the state portal Diia.
"This is a significant step towards digitalisation of the mine action sector. Online certification through Diia makes the process more transparent, faster, and more convenient. Companies no longer need to submit paper documents or visit offices — everything can be done online," said Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The Diia portal provides a convenient interface for filling out applications and submitting all necessary documents in electronic format. The system automatically verifies the completeness of the submitted documents and tracks the application processing status.
"We have developed a simple and intuitive interface — even companies that have never applied through the Diia portal before can easily navigate the process. At the same time, the system maintains all security and compliance requirements," explained the project's technical team representative.
The transition to online certification is part of the broader digitisation of the mine action sector being implemented by the Ministry of Economy. Previously, the certification process was primarily paper-based and required physical presence, which slowed down the process.
"Digitisation accelerates processes and reduces corruption risks. When everything is transparent and online, there is no room for bureaucratic barriers," emphasised the Deputy Minister.
