DOK-ING received a key partner certificate from the Ministry of Economy

The Centre for Humanitarian Demining for the first time procured services for the demining of a large agricultural plot by dividing it into two separate lots. This approach enables more efficient organisation of work and increases competition among mine action operators.

"The division of a large plot into two lots is a practical innovation in our procurement approach. It allows more operators to participate in the auction, increases competition, and can reduce costs. Additionally, two operators working in parallel can clear the territory faster than one alone," said Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The procurement was conducted through the Prozorro electronic system, ensuring transparency and competitiveness. Two different operators won each lot, which will allow them to work simultaneously on different parts of the same large territory.

"This multi-lot approach is particularly relevant for very large plots, where a single operator may not have sufficient capacity to complete the work within the required timeframe. By splitting the work, we ensure faster results without compromising quality," explained the Centre for Humanitarian Demining representative.

The quality of work by both operators will be verified by the Centre after completion. This ensures that all parts of the territory are cleared to the same standard.

"We always look for ways to improve the efficiency of the compensation programme. The multi-lot approach is one such improvement, and we plan to use it more widely for large-scale projects," emphasised the Deputy Minister.
